Key Responsibilities
- Perform engineering-based field tasks including electrical installation support, HVAC system deployment, equipment mounting, and mechanical assembly.
- Apply engineering principles to wiring and breaker sizing, load calculations, and NEC compliance.
- Review installation quality, torque checks, labeling, equipment startup conditions, and compliance with engineering drawings.
- Diagnose electrical faults, HVAC performance issues, and startup irregularities; coordinate corrective actions.
- Prepare field reports, redlines, installation photos, test logs, and commissioning notes.
- Work with project managers, subcontractors, inspectors, and suppliers for safe, compliant, timely execution.
- Follow OSHA, NEC, and FASCore safety protocols, including lockout/tagout and PPE.
Requirements
- Authorized to work in the U.S. under OPT (Optional Practical Training) eligibility.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, HVAC, or Industrial Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
- Strong bilingual communication skills (English + Chinese preferred).
- Understanding of wire sizing, breaker selection, conductor ampacity, and NEC compliance.
- Familiarity with HVAC fundamentals: airflow, refrigeration cycles, equipment startup, basic commissioning.
- Ability to read electrical one-lines and mechanical schematics.
- Strong engineering judgment and troubleshooting ability.
