This role is responsible for
Implementing environmental, health, and safety (EHS) management requirements, ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, and supporting safe, efficient execution of construction activities. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of coordinating closely with project teams and subcontractors on-site.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in establishing and implementing site-specific EHS management plans, procedures, and control measures.
- Review construction plans, method statements, and technical measures from an EHS perspective, ensuring alignment with OSHA standards.
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and hazard assessments; ensure timely corrective actions.
- Monitor subcontractor activities for compliance with project safety requirements.
- Manage site safety performance, including incident prevention, reporting, investigation, and root cause analysis.
- Support safety training programs, including site orientations and toolbox talks.
- Track and report safety performance.
- Participate in coordination meetings with the owner, project team, and subcontractors.
- Support equipment installation, testing, and commissioning activities by ensuring safety compliance.
Qualifications
- Experience in construction site safety management or industrial EHS roles (large-scale construction or industrial projects preferred)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety compliance; OSHA 30 preferred
- Hands-on experience in site safety inspections, safety training, and incident management
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with field teams and subcontractors
- No criminal record
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (citizen, permanent resident, etc.); OPT candidates welcome; H-1B sponsorship available
- Willingness to travel frequently for project-based work
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Native-level proficiency in both Chinese and English
